SHAVASANA

Ahhh, heavenly - yes, the yoga posture -asana - known as corpse pose.
Did you know the entire point of our physical practice is to come to this place of deep rest. Yogis most likely would call it the bridge between the mind and body, the breath. To leave a class before corpse pose - hurried for what exactly?! - is to miss the entire point of the practice. Shavasana allows the physicality of the exhausted body to arrive at a deep state of relaxation therefore allowing for space in the “mental” body. This momentary action ( inaction?) is to arrive at a higher state of being, a meditation. In the yoga sutras this is also known as Asteya, a theft of your time, alas! -theft also from distracting others.
So herewith, albeit wreathed in stillness, is the stunning rose bound lavender and sage stick that neutralizes the energy of the space you surround yourself, enhancing your intuition and promoting balance and centering.
